বিরল সুখ তুমি কোথা পাই তোমারে
নাইতাম সকাল সাঁঝে থাকিলে নীরে,
পড়িতে ঝরে আশমান হতে বারি ধারায়
ঊর্ধ্ব পানে মুদিত নয়নে মাখিতাম কায়।
আসিলে ভেসে সমীরে মিশে সুদূর হতে
প্রতীক্ষা পরে নিতাম ভরে উষ্ণ এ বুকে।
সাধি তোমারে ধরি আঁখিতে পাই যদি কিরণে
নিত্য প্রভাতে বসি রচিবো খুশি মম পরাণে।
Where can I find you oh rare happiness?
If you were water, I would dive morning and evening.
You fall from the sky in the form of rain
I would close my eyes and let my body get wet
If you floated in the wind from afar
After waiting for you I would fill this warm chest.
If you are sunshine, I wish I would hold you with my eyes and fill my heart with peace.
অন্ধের বহেনা জীবন কেঁদে, না দেখার দুঃখে
নির্বাক বধির সদা না কাটায় দিবস বিমুখে।
ঘরে নাই বাহিরে নাই, নাহি সুখ এ সংসারে,
বুঝাইয়ো হিয়ারে যেন-
"না পাওয়া" সহে আর দমে কামনারে।
A blind man's life is not spent crying in the sorrow of blindness
“Deaf and dumb” knows how to spend time happily in silence.
There is no happiness in the home or outside
Train your mind to accept the failure and lower expectations.
