শুনতে লাগে বেশ
প্রেরণাদাতা গণের উপদেশ,
বারে বারে শুনে দেখি
শেষে হইলাম ভক্ত একি!
অনুপ্রেরণাই যদি পাই
পুন পুনরায় কেনো শুনিতে যাই!

বশে মন শুনি
দুর্ভেদ্য ভাষায় ধর্মের বাণী।
ধর্মের বার্তা সরল করে
লইতাম যদি দু এক হৃদয় গহ্বরে,
সকলেরে ভ্রাত জানি
অবসান হতো যত হানাহানি।

মেতে উঠি শুনে
অর্থ না খুঁজে আধুনিক গানে।
শব্দ গুচ্ছ সরল
কথার মালায় শুধু ভাবনা বিরল।
জেনো অর্থবহ গীত সদাই
চিরসবুজের তালিকাতে পায় ঠাঁই।

মুঠো ফোনে বসে
সমাজ মাধ্যমে চলি আঙুল ঘষে।
আধুনিক এক নেশা
রিলের শৃঙ্খল পরি মস্তিষ্কে তামাশা।
স্বল্প মেয়াদী আমেজে
আছি মজে সময়ের মূল্য না বুঝে।

It sounds amazing
Motivational speakers’ advice,
Listening again and again
I finally became a fan!
If I get inspiration
Why go to listen again!?

Listening makes the mind subdue
Impenetrable verses of scriptures.
Some simplified messages of religion
If I listened carefully,
I knew everyone as brothers
Violence would have been ended.

I am addicted to hearing it
The modern song without getting the meaning
Words are easy
Only thoughts in words are rare.
Know that meaningful songs always 
Get a place in the list of evergreens.

On mobile phone
I keep scrolling through social media
A modern insanity
One reel after another is a joke on my brain.
To this short-term pleasure
I am addicted, without understanding the value of time.
